How to get involved
There are a great number of ways which you can help us, no matter how much time you have to give or where your interest lies, click on the below items to find out more:
Fostering:
We are always looking for new fosterer's to join our dedicated team. If you can't commit years to an animal but
have time to give and miss the company of animals then fostering could be right up your street. It's very rewarding,
it also pulls at your heart strings and letting them go can be hard but having an animal ready to be rehomed and
placed in the perfect home for them is a proud moment in a fosterer's life.
If this sounds like you, please contact us indicating your address, contact details and particular interest, for example cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, etc.
We will get back to you as soon as we can - please be aware that as we are all volunteers ourselves there may sometimes be a delay in receiving a reply.Volunteering:
You can volunteer in a number of ways - at our shop, fostering animals, fund raising, offering to do some driving - the list
goes on! If you have time and want to help then we'd love to hear from you. We do a number of events as well and if you some
hours to give or a special talent that you would like to volunteer on such occasions to help raise money and enjoy a great
day out at the same time we'd like to hear from you too.
Donating:
We cannot function without donations, we need good quality second hand goods such as books, cd's, clothing and bric a brac
are very welcome for the charity shop. Tinned food is in very short supply at the moment and we would live some tins or
pouches and dried food. Other animal food is welcome too, birds, rabbits, anything goes. In addition to the above we can
also make good use of animal bedding, decent equipment i.e. puppy pens, rabbit hutches (indoor and outdoor), cat carriers, etc.
All proceeds go back into the charity to fund ongoing work in rescuing and aiding animals that are in need of help.
Spreading the word:
The more people who know about us the better - this leads to more awareness, more homes become available and in fact, the
more people who are rescue centre aware, the less animals in need there will be. There's so many ways to do this, even simply
logging on to our Facebook / Twitter pages and asking your friends to join. You can have a great impact by way of a couple of
little clicks.
However and where-ever you help - we thank you!
