Having bought the land some time ago, we have now overcome the numerous delays due to Planning Permission, building Regulations and not least the winter weather and at long last work has started!
Our original objective of kennels and a cattery has had to be changed because of planning restrictions but after careful thought we are now giving ourselves the storage space which is so desperately needed. Also working within our Planning Restrictions we are able to provide limited emergency housing for animals.
These two aspects will make the charity run more effectively and efficiently, hopefully enabling us to help more animals and take some of the pressure off our volunteers and the Shop staff. Many of our houses will look empty once the mountains of Pawz paraphernalia has gone to the new unit and the shop will be unrecognisable.
Unfortunately this facility will not be open to the public but a big thank you to all of you who, through your support, have made this possible.
